| Canadian post-punk/nu-metal quartet Sum 41 lent "Fat Lip" and "The Hell Song" to the second and third American Pie film albums (respectively), and singer Avril Lavigne (also Canadian) contributed a new song to this soundtrack: "I Don't Give." Sum 41 guitarist/singer Deryck Whibley got married to Avril Lavigne in July of 2006. He co-produces her newest album (as of 2007) "The Best Damn Thing." |

| This is the only film in the American Pie trilogy not to have a Blink-182 song in it. Blink-182 released "Enema of the State" in 1999 ("Mutt" from that album was in Pie 1). "Take Off Your Pants and Jacket" was released in 2001 ("Every Time I Look for You" from that album was in Pie 2). Blink-182's self-titled 2003 CD was released November 18th. American Wedding's theatrical release was on the 1st of August. |
