Soundtrack Q & A
Q: I just watched the opening of the movie "Shade" on Spike TV and thoght I heard "Stormy Weather" as performed by a group from Harrisburg/York from the 1960's named The Magnificent Men. Was that who did the opening number? Sure sounded like Buddy King on lead vocals.  (from Mag Man  in York, PA )
A: I don't have the end credits on hand, but some research indicates that yes, The Magnificent Men did perform the "Stormy Weather" number. (thanks to Stalloner , NY add more info

Q: I'm having trouble finding out the name of the song that is played at the end of the movie when Vernon is walking off and the credits roll. I know the vocals are done by a woman, but I don't know by who - please help!  (from Vala  in New Jersey )
A: Vala, I ask the same question! However, I want to know the song that was substituted in that spot on the foreign version of the movie. It was a funky little number with lyrics referring to "Lady Luck." It was sassy and up-tempo. Have you heard any information on either song? Thanks. (thanks to Todd , El Paso, TX USA add more info
A: Searching for the same thing here, but song does not appear to exist anywhere... It's in the credits, however as "Bullets' Grip" by Idle Americans. (thanks to bbaz , Atlanta add more info
A: Vala, the version of this song, that I know, is "Libertango" by Grace Jones. (thanks to Rosie , Bricktown, NJ, USA add more info
