Soundtrack Q & A
Q: What is the name of the song heard when he is in the motel room with his client. The rain is coming down and a song is playing in the background. She kisses him by the window and he walks away. Can you please help me? (from T in San Bernadino, Cailf)
A: "The Rain" by Tracie Spencer (thanks to blakbuttaphly, Newport News VAadd more info

Q: I'm trying to find the version of Tracie Spencer's song "The Rain" featured in this movie. It's a different version of the original that is on the Down in the Delta soundtrack. Can anyone tell me where I can find the special version as it is heard in A Smile Like Yours?

Q: There was a song used in the movie by Tracie Spencer called "The Rain" but it is not one of the track listings. Any idea where I can find that version? (from Mamacita in Reading,PA)
A: The song is called "The Rain" by Tracie Spencer. It is not on the soundtrack nor any other of her released CDs. It's not even listed on her singles list. Unless you can find it on YouTube, there's no other way to find it (that I know of). (thanks to Jamiee, USAadd more info

Q: I bought this soundtrack specifically for the Tracie Spencer song. I was extremely disappointed to find it was not listed. I looked on all 3 of Tracie's CDs: her self titled debut Tracie Spencer (1988); Make The Difference (1990); and Tracie (1999) only to find it was never released. It's not even on her singles list. How can a person find a song when it's like it never existed?
