Trivia
Within a year, the "Black Betty" cover by Spiderbait was featured in four movies, Without a Paddle (Matthew Lillard, Seth Green), Guess Who (Ashton Kutcher, Bernie Mac), The Dukes of Hazzard, and Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous (Sandra Bullock, Regina King). Before this, it was also used in Blow (with Johnny Depp).

Soundtrack Q & A
Q: There is a song in the movie which I have been looking for for a very long time. It plays just before the car chase in the city and just for few seconds in the background. It is not the AC/DC song ("If You Want Blood You Got It"); it's the one right before it. This song is featured in many many movies but never listed on any soundtrack or in the credits. (from Claudius in Germany)
A: Is it "Black Betty" by Spiderbait?? (thanks to Anthony, N. Chicago, ILadd more info

Q: There is a song, that is not on the soundtrack, nor listed in the credits, or on any website I've found discussing the music... and for what lyrics I can make out, I have done very extensive lyric searches to no avail. On the DVD, there is a deleted/alternate scene where Bo (Sean William Scott) is driving blind-folded through some back country roads and there is a song playing that I can't seem to figure out. The artist sounds familiar, and it has that Motley Crue hair band sound to it, but I (and about 10 others) have had no luck in tracking down either the artist nor the title of this song. It's a really cool song and goes great with that scene, and I challenge anyone to test their music knowledge and figure out either the artist or title... or both. Good luck, you're gonna need it. (from 69charger in United States)
A: I tried to listened to this song you're referring to and can appreciate your frustration, as I too have found myself in similar situations. Unfortunately, it is hard to hear the lyrics through the dialogue, and even the few that you can hear are hard to discern. It almost sounds like the band April Wine to me. There were numerous 80's hair bands that sounded similar to one another; some were fairly obscure or not well known, as this may be the case here. About the only suggestions I would have would be a web site called lyricstalk.com or possibly posting a question on answers.yahoo.com under the music section. (thanks to Erik, Sterling, NYadd more info
