Soundtrack Q & A
Q: Hi. There is a piece of guitar music (instrumental) that plays during the scene where everybody has a moment of silence on the field for the guy that was killed (I think his name was Primo). I would really like to know by who that music is. I have listened to the whole soundtrack and more and I can't seem to find it.  (from renier  in South Africa )
A: It is Carlos Santana's "Samba Pa Ti." It's really a great instrumental, I hope you'll enjoy listening to it. (thanks to Dorika , Serbia add more info

Q: What's the song playing in the final credits at the end of the film?  (from joe  in spain )
A: "Letting Go" by Terence Trent D'Arby (thanks to Mosiek , Poland add more info

Q: What's the song playing when Primo's hitting a better percentage than Bobby Rayburn? It sounds like Carlos Santana.  (from David  in highlandpark,mi )
A: "Bem Bem Maria" by Gypsy Kings (thanks to sean , jersey add more info

Q: When Primo (del Toro) gets stabbed to death in the shower by Robert de Niro, what's the song playing? It's a bit aggressive but good music. I can not find it on the soundtrack album.  (from smots  in holland )
A: "Closer (Further Away)" - Nine Inch Nails (thanks to King , Indiana, US add more info

Q: What song is playing after Primo is killed and Bobby hits and he hits a double? It's after the tribute to Primo when they boo Bobby when he steps to the plate.
...from Charlie  in Utah  (answer Charlie's question)

Q: What is the ending song playing when we see the black and white photographs?  (from Redita  in Argentina )
A: Redita... funny you should ask. That question was bothering me even years ago when I first saw this movie. I just loved the instrumental part so much and I could not locate the song! But I have figured it out! The Song is actually Terrence Trent D'Arby "Letting Go". I know that if you start to listen to the song I just mentioned (it's on youtube) you will think "No! That's not it!" But it IS... just let it play and during the refrain (chorus, repeats after every stanza) it is the instrumental part with the vocals of "peaceful feeling, letting go.." gradually added in.. it's not the dominating part of the song, but I am so glad I found it as music is almost.. spiritual.. to me. I hope it hasn't been too long since you asked this, and I hope this answer finds you. ~MOMMY (thanks to MOMMY , Palm Beach County, FL add more info
